Neighborly Alerts was founded by a small group of long-time Austin residents who were tired of watching their neighborhoods decline due to property neglect, absentee landlords, and poor oversight.
We noticed the little things—trash bins left out for days, overgrown weeds, broken lights, furniture dumped near dumpsters. The kind of issues that don’t make headlines... but slowly chip away at the quality of life for the people who actually live here.
Instead of waiting for city inspectors or HOAs to catch up, we created our own solution: a community-forward property awareness network that gives local tenants and neighbors a voice, and gives property owners a discreet opportunity to fix issues before they escalate into formal complaints.
Today, Neighborly Alerts quietly monitors hundreds of properties across Central Texas, identifying early signs of neglect, documenting issues, and connecting directly with property managers and owners to address them quickly and respectfully.
